root-Function of the day: TH2::FitSlicesY

Today's ROOT function of the day is:
void FitSlicesY(TF1 *f1, Int_t binmin, Int_t binmax, Int_t cut, Option_t *option)
Project slices along Y in case of a 2-D histogram, then fit each slice with function f1 and make a histogram for each fit parameter Only bins along X between binmin and binmax are considered. if f1=0, a gaussian is assumed

Playing the game of kings

Remembering Battle Chess on your amiga? The pieces would fight each other when being captured. That was quite remarkable on a 8 MHz 68000 with 512 kByte of memory, it came on one 720 kByte floppy disk. Of course such a barbarian variation of Chess needs a complement, like Love Chess. Note that it needs a 1 GHz P4, 256 MB RAM, a DirectX8 compatible graphics card and 50 MB on your harddisk. (seen on memepool)

Sitting in a cellar, 7th underground floor. Looking at 19 computer screens. Listening to Queen's Seaside Rendevous makes me feel surreal... Must get real speakers!
