new airport power supply

Recently. The new and improved power supply, getting about 8V from a wall-wart. Using a LM2575 for 3.3V@1A and the venerable 78L05 for 5V at some insignificant current.

I'll not go into the details of the infamous lies Mrs. Zypries has told the citizens to get to this point, please read about it in the link above. Update: If you want to learn about yet another reason why CDU/CSU or SPD must not be allowed to govern this country any longer, please have a lookt at the names of the members of parliament and their votes on this law.

Airport Express

Claudio gave me his broken Airport-Express, which still seems to work fine if you don't use the switching power supply. As the SPS basically consists of only one chip on the primary side - which is broken - I'll most likely put the Airport Express in a nice plastic box with a new power adapter.
